Seems to work well. My mother loves Mahjong so I'll put it on her laptop. Thanks! Are there other layouts, or just this one?

Thanks! It’s just the turtle layout for now. I also built it for my mom since her old Mahjong didn’t work anymore. Although this one runs a bit too slow on her computer :>

If this doesn’t work for you, you could try Shanghai Mahjong for Mac and Mahjong Epic for iOS, she likes those. Or Microsoft Mahjong for Windows.

Cheers! My mum also plays hidden object games, and I have a stack of those that I install for her, I think Mahjong was just her latest casual game that she can spend hours playing. :-) This is better than playing it online in a browser, since she then has issues with seeing everything, or browser controls getting in the way. Best wishes, Kefren,

Nice work! Good idea with the sound effects. There should be an option to turn them off, is all. (Edit: I found it.) Runs fine on Debian 10, on a Dell Optiplex 780 with 12-years-old Intel graphics. :P

Thanks for the first comment, glad you like it :) And that it runs on Intel graphics, impressive. And yes, there’s a sound option in the menu. Also, if you play fast enough, the sound effects make a little melody 🎵
